To help contractors manage in-progress and upcoming projects, we built a login section that lets them store website assets such as product swatches, laying patterns, how-to guides, images and more. The project bin is a fully personalized library that can also help when selling ideas to homeowners. The onboarding process is quick and automated, and also supports lead fostering and generation by communicating with Unilock’s CRM.

With so many supporting resources and educational materials, it was important that users be able to find everything quickly and easily. The Hardscape Education Center houses tons of videos, files and articles on a range of topics—from installing Unilock products to growing their business. A searchable library, category structure and many other careful UX details keep the section user-friendly despite the large amount of content.

Redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up, the calculator simplifies the task of determining how much product is needed for a project based on multiple variables such as square footage and laying pattern. The calculator’s complex mapping and architecture also accounts for nuances in product categories and families, orientation, installation base and more.

For years, Unilock managed a standalone portal for its authorized contractors. With the website redesign we integrated the portal into the website, making things easier for users and admin. The new AC section provides access to rebates and discounts, online social groups, lead-gen settings and info on upcoming meetings, among other things. As with the rest of the site, the AC section is regionalized and funnels inquiries to local Unilock reps.



Although it shares some creative direction with the Homeowner website, the Unilock Contractor site offers a distinct experience with a number of new features on the front- and back-end.

Overall, the Contractor site is more ambitious in scope, content and functionality. But another close collaboration with the Unilock team helped us overcome any challenges and deliver on time.
