MusicMelter gives musicians and bands a free platform to showcase their talent, promote upcoming events or just say what’s on their mind. Customizable profiles include the ability to upload video and audio, create an image gallery, choose from a variety of themes, add content posts and connect their social media channels and website.
The newsfeed is the nerve center of MusicMelter. Everything from friend requests and events to new classified ads and content posts appears here. Users can like, share or comment on anything that shows up in their newsfeed, and of course publish a post for others to see. It also gives businesses a chance to get their brand in front of the right audience with a sponsored ad.
MusicMelter also functions as a marketplace. Musicians can post free ads to sell old gear and instruments, or to recruit other members for collaborations. Each section comes with unique filtering parameters to help users narrow down their search. They can also set up alerts to be notified when an ad meeting their requirements gets posted.
The revenue from participating businesses is what keeps MusicMelter running strong. We designed a special signup page where they can choose the plan that works for their business and sign up online through a secure ecommerce transaction. The signup page also features a promo booklet, which helps sell the benefits of MusicMelter.
There’s a lot to see and do on MusicMelter, so it made sense to include a tutorial for faster onboarding of new users. The tutorial guides them step-by-step through the most important features and functions, including how to get started with their profile.
The site looks amazing and the team did an amazing job in pulling it all together, and I am sure the January launch will go smoothly as well.

MusicMelter gives musicians a free online platform with tons of ways to showcase their talent and make connections.
The huge range of features and customization options puts them in control, so they don’t have to compromise to fit the mould. Best of all, they can do everything in one user-friendly interface. And that means more time for making music.
