GCTC is home to more than 100 stores and restaurants, each with its own profile on the new website. Profiles feature all the important details including contact info, map link and social media channels, and are automatically integrated with any promotions tied to the store.

MALL MAP

The map is an important part of any shopping center website, so we gave it plenty of attention. Using a popular plugin, we configured the map for the most intuitive user experience and integrated it with the CMS for easy management. Every store and restaurant on the map is linked to its profile page.

TENANT PORTAL

With so many tenants at GCTC, the management team need a convenient way to oversee everything while giving individual store owners some control as well. Through a custom interface they can edit their own store details including picture, hours, contact info, social links and promotions. Notifications alert admin to a pending change, which they can approve or deny, along with an explanation.

EVENTS SECTION

The events section allows management to promote GCTC as a premier entertainment destination. Events are displayed in article format and calendar format, along with a dedicated section on the homepage to get people’s attention.

PROMOTIONS

Nothing draws shoppers like a sale, so the new website needed a dedicated section for promotions. Our biggest challenge was designing a solution that would accommodate a wide variety of image styles, shapes and sizes, since each store owner could upload their own content. Promotions automatically disappear upon expiry and are integrated with their store profile.

The site looks amazing and the team did an amazing job in pulling it all together, and I am sure the January launch will go smoothly as well.

THE OUTCOME

As with Gulf Coast Town Center itself, the new website is colourful and creative, yet carefully planned down to the last detail.

That same attention to detail is visible in the back-end. By giving store owners the freedom to manage their own content (with admin oversight), we streamlined a process that was inefficient and frustrating.
