Omnicom is an online translations company, responsible for converting extensive amounts of text (often technical and field-specific) into any of the world’s languages. They came to us with the need to compete in an industry where speed, accuracy and efficiency are of critical importance. In addition to the complete structural and aesthetic overhaul of their existing site, the project called for a significant degree of software development. The first challenge was to overcome cultural and linguistic barriers in the creation of a fully integrated automatic translator.
Next, we engineered an automated quote system that allowed clients to review the potential costs of their submitted project. Finally, we provided a job tracking system that enabled site administrators to follow a project through submission, translation, review and delivery without ever changing applications.
