The Real Estate Council of Ontario, or RECO, is a self-managed, non-for-profit corporation that is responsible for maintaining and regulating real estate laws on behalf of the provincial government. As an administrative authority, RECO's online presence needed to accomplish two specific tasks - to provide a credible source of information to the public, as well as providing tools and resources for industry professionals. We created a unique concept for the website - to embrace the division, and create two websites into one! Our "public" website wrapped the charters, laws and articles into a gorgeous, easily accessible design - making information retrieval a breeze. And for the "industry professionals", we synchronized the new website with RECO's existing registrant database - allowing users to search and browse the credentials of all registered brokers in the province! And for lé piece dé resistance - everything you see on this website is controlled by our flexible, customized Content Management System.
